Support to continue the LGBT health fellowship program. Specifically, support for a doctoral level psychologist or psychiatrist for a two-year fellowship. The fellow provides direct health services to LGBT patients and their families; participates in the consultation/liaison services of the LGBT Health Initiative, which includes a new clinical case conference series for providers across Columbia University Medical Center; develop a model intervention and curriculum to enhance cultural and clinical competence in LGBT health; and implement and evaluate this model program in variety of clinic sites. The fellow will continue to perfect the web-based tool kit developed by the first fellow, continue the cultural competence interventions at the Lucy Wicks Clinic and the Comprehensive HIV Care Clinic, and add a third site to implement and evaluate the intervention approached previously developed.
